Orientation Cum Induction Program 2017 for First Year B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy Students was held on 16/08/2017. Shri Parikshit Kaul, Senior Vice President of Anil DhiruBhai Ambani Group Graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
The Eco-Club organizes activities with the aim to provide eco- friendly and academically conducive environment on the campus. Environment Day is celebrated with lots of fervor and new saplings are planted in and around the institute to have a “Green and Clean” campus.
Gurugram Global College of Pharmacy organised Clean India & Green India initiative to support 'SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN' of Govt. of India from 10th Oct -12th Oct, 2017. All the students of B. Pharmacy & D. Pharmacy actively participated in this program. On the first day, Students initiated cleanliness drive in the herbal garden & nearby areas in the presence of Principal & faculty of GGCP.
Faculty and students of GGCP planted the medicinal plants in herbal garden. The program was indeed a successful activity as the students enjoyed the experience of being associated with social novel activity of Clean India & Green India and also enriched their knowledge about the importance of medicinal plants and their uses.
Gurugram Global College of Pharmacy, Farrukhnagar, Gurugram celebrated 'RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS' on 31st October, 2017 to mark the Birthday of Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Gurugram Global College of Pharmacy organised a Guest Lecture on National Pharmacy Week for students of B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy.
Dr. Harish Dureja, Professor (Pharmaceutic) in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, M. D. University Rohtak discussed the theme "Know your medicine, Ask your Pharmacist." He also distributed the prize who participated in the events of National Pharmacy Week and secured position.
Global Group of Institutions celebrated National Voters' Day and the Republic Day on the campus. On this momentous occasion an Inter-Department Cultural Contest was organised in which students from different departments of Gurugram Global College of Pharmacy presented a cultural bonanza of music, dance and theater.
Gurugram Global College of Pharmacy organized a workshop on Scope and career opportunities in Pharmacy on 30th April, 2019. Mr. S. L. Nasa, Registrar Delhi Pharmacy Council was the chief guest of the day. He addressed the students regarding various career prospective after D. Pharm and B. Pharm. The workshop was very informative and inspiring for the students.
Gurugram Global College of Pharmacy, Farrukhnagar, Gurgoan organized a “MEGA INTERNSHIP FAIR” ON 17th April, 2019. Many companies participated in the Internship fair and 10 students selected for internship.
Annual sports meet was organized from 13th March to 15th march 2019. Interdepartmental competition was done in different sports like Cricket, Basket ball, Kabbadi, Badminton and Table tennis. And track events also organized on this meet.
Republic day was celebrated in campus on 25th January, 2019. Students of GGCP were participated in various cultural events.
Gurugram Global College of Pharmacy organized Health Camp in the campus to celebrate National Pharmacy Week 2018.Various test like blood sugar, Hemoglobin levels, Blood Pressure, BMI index, has been conducted. More than 200 people from nearby area including staff and students participated in the health camp. Special diet counseling was given to the patients with high sugar and blood pressure levels by the students under the guidance of faculty.
Principal of GGCP addressed the event and gave the information about the symptoms, causes and medication therapy for diabetes. Students participated in oral presentation on Allopathic and Ayurvedic ways of treatment and control of diabetes.
GGCP in its endeavour to conseve environment organized Plantation Drive - Plant For Planet. Faculty and students of GGCP planted the medicinal plants in herbal garden. The program was indeed a successful activity as the students enjoyed the experience of being associated with social cause of saving the planet but also enriched their knowledge about the importance of medicinal plants and their uses.
Students of GGCP organized awareness drive on green Diwali celebration on 2nd november 2018. They spread the message of celebrating pollution free Diwali to all the students and staff in the campus.
Pharmacist Day was celebrated in GGCP on 25th September, 2018. Students actively participated in Oral, Poster Presentation and Pharma Quiz. First prize was won by Akash and Neha of B.Pharm. IIIrd semester in poster presentation and Chander Kant of B. Pharm Ist semester won first prize for oral presentation.
Fresher Party was organized on 21th September 2018. All freshers from the Global group of institutions took active part in this event The freshers were asked to give their introduction followed by a talent round to judge their potential. Ms Vidhi of B.Pharm I semester was selected as Ms. Fresher and Mr.Manoj won the Mr. Talent Title among the entire Participant in the event.
Gurugram Global College of Pharmacy had organized propitious industrial visit for the students of B. Pharma and D. Pharma to Yakult Manufacturing Plant in Sonipat Haryana on 6th September, 2018. Students were taken around the plant and were explained about the production and packaging process. The process of making in Yakult is totally automated and is internationally designed as per highest hygiene standards. Overall it was highly interactive and learning visit for the students.
Industrial visit to Parle G plant in Bahadurgarh was organized for B. Pharmacy students on 30/08/2018. Students thoroughly enjoyed the learning processes of manufacturing and packaging of Parle G products.
Orientation program was organized for newly admitted students. Principal of GGCP addressed the event and introduced the college and pharmacy profession. Mr. Atul Kumar Nasa, Deputy Drug Controller, New Delhi was the chief guest of the day. He discussed about the scope, carrier and objectives of pharmacy with the students.
